ISN Facility - Fort Hamilton U.S. Army Base
Responding to Critical Power Emergencies
Mission-critical federal project where Kanta is delivering a high-capacity, fully integrated electrical and low-voltage infrastructure for a new Information Servicing Node (ISN) facility at the Fort Hamilton US Army Base. The scope includes robust power distribution, switchgear, UPS and backup generation systems, advanced grounding and lightning protection, and secure telecommunications and fiber backbone systems. Executed to stringent USACE standards, the project highlights Kanta’s ability to lead and deliver complex, secure, and high-performance infrastructure in tightly controlled, mission-driven environments.
Kanta serves as the prime electrical subcontractor for the construction of a new Information Servicing Node (ISN) facility at Fort Hamilton US Army Base, commissioned by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), New York District.
This mission-critical infrastructure project involves the complete delivery of electrical, fire alarm, telecommunications, and lightning protection systems for a secure federal installation. The scope encompasses full design-assist coordination, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of complex power and low-voltage systems supporting high-reliability operations.
Kanta’s work includes installation of primary and secondary power distribution, switchgear, emergency and backup power systems including generators and UPS, grounding and lightning protection systems, as well as fully integrated telecommunications, security, and life safety systems. The project requires strict adherence to federal standards, including USACE specifications, and EM-385 safety requirements.
The assignment demands precise coordination with multiple trades, phased construction sequencing, and delivery within a highly regulated, secure environment.
Kanta Electric’s performance on this project reflects its capability to deliver large-scale, technically complex electrical infrastructure for government and mission-critical facilities, with a focus on quality, safety, and operational reliability.
